Job Description
Planning
1. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared towards operational excellence.
2. Tactical hub planning in terms of resources (manpower, equipment, space, etc) in line with fluctuation of weekly/monthly volume.
3. Planning on satellite expansion when volume reached the justified level.

Reporting
4. Regular meetings with Operation/Hub Senior Manager around fiscal planning.
5. Monitor & update hub operational performance in terms of its service, cost, productivity & efficiency.
6. Establish & keeping track daily/weekly/monthly hub performance report in terms of its services, productivity, efficiency & cost.
7. Organization of fiscal documents.

Analyzing
8. Analyze issues & work closely with country team for corrective & preventive solutions.
9. Handling customer’s complaint/feedback & excellent trouble shooting skills.

Optimizing

10. Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
11. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.

Compliance
12. Monitor & ensure full compliance of hub operational policies & processes.
13. Responsible for both manpower sourcing & hub assets
14. To ensure Hub is in conducive working environment and all Health & Safety requirement are in place.

Cost Management
15. Management of HUB budget in coordination with the VP Ops.
16. Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
17. Development of individual program budgets (Training Program)
18. Disbursement of cheque/payment for agency (Sub-contractor) & ICs expenses.

Leadership culture
19. To manage several hubs within the identified locations.
20. Supervise and coach Hub Supervisor.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years working experience in Logistics or Hub working environment, working experience in courier working environment would be an advantage
• Minimum degree or equivalent experience in Logistics/Hub industry
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word & visio
• Good knowledge in optimization processes (LEAN or Kaizen Methodology)
• Good knowledge in vendor’s management & project management

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong background in managing people/staff in multiple levels
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word & visio
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
• Ability to lead & coordinate daily hub activities/processes and committed to get the job done.
