Job Description
Reporting to the Category Director, you will be responsible for scaling and managing the highly strategic service-centric ecosystem for the category in Thailand. This position has a very challenging complexity with a wide range of products with enormous assortment and a strong axis of development with the digital categories too.
The position will focus on 5 main areas of work:
Performance Management of Category and Teamwork
• Develop the category strategy in coordination with the Regional Category team and prioritize tactical action plan to execute the strategy with team members for both market place and retail business
• Monitor key performance indicators
• Team work with the teams to ensure Onsite, promotions, innovation are delivered properly
Assortment Planning and Merchandising
• Develop and ensure relevant product assortment for on-going category expansion
• Provide business analysis and insights on sales, pricing and on-going opportunities for incremental volume and margin
• Develop a strong seller base with the support of technology development
• Identify partners to sustain the development of a strong Brand presence as category captains
• Engage with local communities to acquire new customers or sellers on the platform
Business Development and Vendor Management
• Acquiring, establishing relationships, and driving high-level negotiations with leading industry brands and publishers
• Develop partnerships with large offline retailers, publishers, …
• Responsible for the growth performance of strategic accounts within category portfolio
Marketing and Onsite management
• Develop on-line merchandising and promotion proposals and calendar to achieve sales targets
• Develop strong and innovative brand partnerships, collectively accelerating the speed at which the Thai customer moves online for learning about and procuring products (design best customer journey online to go to the next steps)
• Cooperating closely with the marketing and operations teams to improving on and delivering a seamless seller and customer experience
• Develop campaign planning and execution, optimizing traffic flow and conversion with the support of the onsite and data science teams
Project Management and Internal collaboration
• Manage and monitor the successful execution of regional projects and local initiatives that could be rolled out to the region
• Cross- functional team collaborations on necessary systems and processes to support category needs and deliver efficiency on improvements
Job Requirements
To succeed in the role, you should ideally have/be:
• 2-4 years’ with commercial/sales background
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Experience in online business would be an advantage
• Strong data analysis skills and Microsoft Office program
• Highly energetic, self-motivated and independent thinker
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize them and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English a must
