Job Description
• Manage operational end-to-end order fulfillment processes of receiving, putaway, picking, packing and shipping of client orders – including returns / failed deliveries
• Works closely with warehouse management team to recognize and develop or correct operational bottlenecks
• Continually work to identify savings opportunities across the warehouse operation and explore alternative methods to meet or exceed established objectives
• Drives optimization activities in layout, warehouse processes and IT solutions to drive efficiency
• Identifies and implements efficiency improvement opportunities for operational excellence and aligns initiatives with any existing organizational programs supporting continuous improvement
• Responsible for ensuring that inventory movements in and out and within the warehouse are accurately documented
• Planning and execution of periodic inventory cycle counts
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
• Manage change effectively, engaging staff in process improvement initiatives and works effectively cross-functionally
• Form collaborative relationships across Fulfilment Operations and all levels of the organization to ensure that the warehouse is operating at optimal manpower resource and in a healthy, safe and secured environment free of incident, via
o Defines manpower operating strategy for warehousing together with key business partners and ensures timely implementation of agreed plan
o Understand and ensure enforcement of all warehouse health, safety and security compliance rules within the warehouse
o Ensure the strict practise of Lazada Way and 5s within the warehouse
• Provide leadership direction and clarity to the Warehouse workforce to sustain an optimal productive warehouse team, via
o Encourage an innovative working environment while motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce
o Ensure quality selection, training and retention actions of warehouse workforce to build a stable workforce
• Monitor applicable KPI’s, investigate performance issues and implement corrective actions as required
• Meeting warehouse productivity targets for each department.
• Work closely with Infrastructure team on scheduling equipment maintenance and replacing when required
• Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand
Job Requirements
• Candidate should possess Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Professional Degree in Logistic/Warehouse Management or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in warehouse
• Fluent in English required and proficiency in local language would be an added advantage
• Strong team management skills
• Good Excel skills
• Strong analytical and planning skills
