OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The LEX Security Supervisor is responsible for working with respective functional stakeholders to upkeep the workplace security standards with the aim of zero incidents/accidents including the protection of the personnel across the operations of MSC and North Hubs.

Create a leadership culture in the HSSE department to drive the desired service & growth—planning, reporting, optimizing, and ensuring compliance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Designated as the site security head of MSC and North Hubs.

Planning
1. Assists security manager in tactical security ops planning in terms of resources (manpower deployment, firearms deployment) in line with fluctuation of volume and security risks of each facility
2. Assists security manager in working closely with other functions on matters related to security operations.

Reporting
3. Establish & keeping track regular reports in terms of security incidents, investigation of cases, response to all security related emergency, security system status and all allied tasks related to security (i.e. recording of security guard’s deployment and attendance, inventory of all security equipment).

Analyzing
4. Monitor & analyze operational performance in terms of all security guards deployed in all facilities.
5. Analyze issues or cases & work closely with stakeholders for corrective & preventive solutions

Optimizing
6. Manage security operational processes in terms of performance, compliance & optimizing its processes.
7. Assists security manager in simplifying & standardizing security processes for better compliance & improved services.
8. Ensure the team is on track all investigation deadlines are met and cases are properly covered.


Compliance
9. Monitor & ensure full compliance of all operational policies & processes of MSC and North Hubs where security is involved.
10. Conducts security training for all staff especially guards MSC and North Hubs in logistics processes.

Cost Management
11. Assists the security manager in initiating cost reduction measures of security costs and initiatives.

Leadership culture
12. Establishing good communication and good relationship with team members, security guards, other functions and the vendors.
13. Coaching & motivating team members.
• Assists security manager to as co lead to investigate direct and non-direct employees involved in theft, code of conduct breach and other related cases and recommend course of action.
• Acts in the capacity of Security Manager when the latter is not around.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years working experience in security in industrial security, Transportation or Hub Working environment. Working in Logistics, would be an advantage
• Atleast college degree with experience in Security in Logistics/Warehousing industry.
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word & visuals
• Good knowledge in processes
• Good analytical skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Background in as asst. manager / supervisor in Corporate Security.
• With strong Investigations Background.
• Excellent Computer skills and proficient in excel, word & visuals
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Has good external contacts with law enforcement agencies.
• Can conduct security audit / risk assessments / trainings
• Knowledge in Security, Transport Standards under TAPA and/or other Certification Body in the field is an advantage including ISO Certifications.
• Preferably with Safety Officer 2 Certification or above.
