Sales / Marketing / Category Knowledge
- Can assist in looking after accounts and sub-categories with the intent of growing the businesses of sellers and brands
- Can do problem solving / critical thinking to identify the right levers / solutions for accounts, has business acumen
- Can understand and use data analysis and industry insights to develop a strategy that is integrated in account management
Operational Excellence
- Can coordinate with cross-functional teams to effectively support brand needs, meet metrics, and drive business growth
- Can collaborate with relevant support teams to develop strategic plans
- Can work with teams to effectively execute category and account strategy to achieve key measures (e.g., revenue, orders, buyers, etc.)
Technical Skills
- Can utilize dashboards and spreadsheets to organize, analyze, and summarize data for insight generation
- Can utilize tools to produce creative assets (banners and posters) to support placement requirements and visibilities
- Can utilize office software tools to create reports
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Establishing strong relations with sellers/brands, supporting their performance, and functioning as the primary contact point
• Being in charge of an account portfolio under a product category for Lazada (Fashion – Women’s, Men’s, Kid’s, Sports, Bags, and Accessories)
• Identifying key assortment opportunities, providing insights to sellers and brands regarding sales levers (price, promotions, etc), building sales team priority plan to assist for execution
• Helping sellers and brands in planning and maintaining stock availability and assortment quality
• Suggesting appropriate packages, marketing services, and campaign participation
• Working with point of contacts in building marketing plan across marketing channels (platform, social media, display, etc.)
• Ensuring ambitious revenue growth by developing strong analytics to regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) evaluate business performance and optimizing further support (e.g., marketing, pricing, product selection, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's/College Degree related to Sales, Marketing, and/or Business (retail and marketing knowledge and experience would be a plus)
• 1-3 years of sales and account management experience for sellers and brands belonging in the industry of Fashion (shoes, clothing, bags, accessories, etc.)
• Can easily build rapport and professional relationship to Key Accounts (big sellers / brands)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, has business acumen
• Innovative problem-solving skills; dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Adept in business tools such as dashboards, spreadsheets, and other online applications
• Self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic for e-commerce (including its possibilities and dynamics)
• Flexible, adaptive, and versatile – need to be able to work with different people and teams
• Fluency in English (proficiency in Chinese would be a plus)
