Reporting to the Head of Legal of Lazada Limited, you will be responsible for the following core duties:
• advising key stakeholders on a variety of FDI, licensing and regulatory issues in Thailand;
• leading the legal structuring of products and operations, in areas such digital payments, marketing, customer contracts, privacy, cybersecurity, supply chain structuring, logistics and transport;
• drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of contracts, including customer and vendor agreements, marketing and payment agreements;
• identifying risks and non-compliance issues, and recommend courses of action to the company and its stakeholders;
• manage the company’s disputes, litigation and investigations, including liaising with external counsel;
• coordinating and implementing company policies and procedures;
• taking charge of the corporate secretarial matters in Thailand;
In terms of legal experience, you should ideally have:
• at least 8 years of post-qualification experience (a mix of private practice experience in an international law firm and in-house experience is preferred);
• qualified as a lawyer in Thailand; and
• experience in e-commerce sector is highly advantageous.
