We are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Category Manager to lead and develop the strategy of key grocery categories for RedMart Lazada Singapore. This individual will drive GMV growth and profitability through effective on-site merchandising, clear promotional strategies, data-driven decision-making and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1/. Mentor a high-performing team of Category Managers to achieve GMV & profitability targets through developing and implementing strategic business plans for the assigned categories
2/. Analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to inform decision-making
3/. Establish strong collaborative brand/supplier/seller relationships to maximize advertising spend, trading terms & product discounts to improve sales and profitability
4/. Ensure the assigned categories have the widest selection and best prices in the market through international sourcing, recruiting marketplace sellers and leveraging competitive intelligence.
5/. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of category plans and drive operational efficiency.
1/. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in category management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
2/. Proven track record in managing multiple product categories and driving significant sales and profitability growth in a competitive market.
3/. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
4/. Experience in analyzing market trends, sales data, and customer behavior to inform business decisions and category strategies.
5/. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
